Brad and Pitt taping is applicable on automated machinery being designed to strengthen necklines or the shoe's most stressed parts such as sandal straps. The standard product is Brad of which Pitt is the cheaper version. Their main characteristics are: high breaking point, sufficient elasticity to enable uppers to keep their shape and ensure that the neckline does not break during lasting, high flexiibility guaranteeing that the tape follows the curves of uppers,  minimum thicknesses.   Brad: % polyester braid which as well as being thermosealed has a structure of chain woven  fabric.
